昨晚随手翻The Old Testament《旧约》的Genesis《创世纪》时看到，顿时间傻了眼：
Begining of Civilization
Cain knew his wife, and she conceived and bore Enoch; and he built a city, and named it Enoch after his son Enoch. To Enoch was born Irad; and Irad was the father of Mehujael, and Mehujael the father of Methushael, and Methushael the father of Lamech. Lamech took two wives; the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other Zillah. Adah bore Jabal; he was the ancestor of those who play the lyre and pipe.
本来以为Adah这个名字是英文人名，昨天才知道Adah这个名字竟然出自《圣经》，应该属希伯来语，发音应该是['a:da]，没有['eida]好听。
