Today is the seventh day and the last day of Spring Festival Holiday, we all will go back to work tomorrow.

 

The Spring Festival is the most important festival in China, I still remember when i was a child, how exciting we were when the Spring Festive was coming. In the last days of the last month, my mother would buy me new clothes, and sometimes, she made the clothes for me by herself. And I aslo needed to have my hair cut.

 

At the “ChuXi”, eve of Spring Festival, it was a feast waiting for me, the most attractive thing to me was the Chicken Leg, my favorite! After the dinner, we kids went outside and play, we were allowed to burn firecrackers, and stay outside till to midnight.

 

During the festival, we will “BaiNian”, which means going to relative’s and friend’s, celebrate the New Year together, it’s a big thing to kids. Because married people would give each child money wrapped up in red paper as a new year gift. More visiting, more red packages, means more money! Althought i had to give most of the red packages to my parent, but i could still buy some foods, toys or firecrackers for myself.

 

So spring festival is so wanderful for kids, we can have new clothes, we can eat more than ordinary times, we can have money, and all adults were nice to kids.

 

Today, as grown up, it seems we have lost the happiness of spring festival. We can gain money by ourself, so we can buy new clothes, eat delicius food whenever we want. Actually, Spring Festive is more and more as same as the odinary times.

 

If we can not find out the new spceial thing of Spring Festival, we can not find more happiness of it neither. Maybe this is the cost of growing up.
