        应学校要求，我下午去一家私人诊所申请一张健康证明，原以为这是医生举手之劳，花一两快而已，哪知道护士告诉我的价钱让我大跌眼镜：25新元！（125RMB）…
       你知道医生都做了些啥吗？答案是：血压测量，胸腔听诊，腹部触诊，没了！前后只花了3分钟不到…
       现在你知道看病在新加坡是多么恐怖的事情了吧？所以，请保持身体健康…

It is quite ok if one has to spend money on consulting doctors when sick. But if one has to spend considerable amount of money only to prove that he is HEALTHY… I will be quite speechless… This is what happened to me this afternoon in Singapore.
According to what my school requires, I need to go to a private clinic to get a certificate of fitness. I thought that it shouldn’t cost much, since it’s quite easy to do checking. But what the nurse told me nearly knocked me down: it cost 25 dollars (39 U.S. dollars)!
After all, what the doctor did were just some very basic checking, such as measuring blood pressure, auscultation and palpating. He spent only around 3 minutes…
Now you should have a impression on how costly just to SEE a doctor is in Singapore. So… Please keep healthy…
