无所事事

3度是MS基于MSN提供的一个服务，但是用的人好像很少，并且国内
提及这个3度的好像并不是很多。这个东西一直还是处于测试状态，并
且只是在MSN MESSAGER 6.2出来后才包含了这个链接(这个服务应该是
从2003年就开始提供了)。
可惜的是这个软件对系统的要求有点苛刻：

    首先得确认自己的系统为Windows XP+Service Pack 1；      MSN
 Messenger版本为5.0或更高；要为Windows XP系统安装KB817778
 升级包，以实现对最新的IPv6技术应用程序的NAT遍历支持

同时也因为对系统环境的苛刻和不相称的花哨的界面被人质疑他的使用
对象：Three Degrees - nope

整个3度的界面都是红通通的鲜艳，可以看看人家是如何试用的。
3度是这样说自己的：

know and trust one another, so they can do fun things together in a whole new way.
3 is a beta test of an innovative application that lets users connect online, extending
real-world social interactions. 

With 3 you can:
Throw a personalized animation on your friends' desktops with winks.
Listen to a shared play list simultaneously, created from music that you own.
Easily send digital photos from last night's party to your friends.
Initiate group chat with MSN Messenger.

共享音乐动画图片倒是在其次，关键是要"lets users connect online,extending real-world social
interactions".因此这个东西还是要老少皆宜为妥，而他们的做法就让人看不懂了。就目前
看来，只有群聊，共享音乐，图片，动画，而更多的将现实世界中的关系反映到网络的
工作好像还没有做。
测试版的3度让人想起了微软关于SNS的另外一个研究项目，WALLOP，由微软的
Social Computing Group开发的，这个WALLOP的目的是：

    In Wallop, you can share photos, blog, and interact with your friends. Wallop is a research
     project that explores how people share media and build conversations in the context of social  
    networks.

现在并没有公开测试，不过还是有些公开的图片可以看看(http://www.eweek.com/).
是否可以说3度是WALLOP的一个实践？
通过P2P软件来共享一些音乐图片，今天在另外一篇BLOGSNS个人社会网络（SNSING）
:关于P2P的安全感也提到了WWW.SNSING.COM也在进行这个尝试，。但是对微软来说，
不管是3度还是WALLOP，都还只是开始而已，所有的热门，微软都不会错过...
