在Hotmail登录页面，出现了这样一条通知：

在详细信息的页面，除了介绍新的病毒和蠕虫保护之外，还特别介绍了新的即将发布的MSN Hotmail Plus的特色。所有现有购买了额外存储空间的用户，都将自动升级到MSN Hotmail Plus，而无需额外的费用。MSN Hotmail Plus将提供2GB存储空间，可以收发最大20MB的附件，不会因为一个月没登录账号过期，没有图片广告。

另据PConline报道，微软已向部分Hotmail用户发出通知，免费邮箱的容量将升级至250MB。不过，中国用户似乎并未收到这个升级通知。

UPDATE: 打开这个页面就可以发现，免费邮箱确实将升级至250MB，附件最大10MB，同时，还可以与其他人共享日历，与家人和朋友规划日程等。
