只说 sayonly.com

sayonly.com                 english | other        Gfw是什么问题?

Rebecca MacKinnon: "Since people in China have never been free toexpress their political views in public, not being able to do so incyberspace isn't actually viewed as a sacrifice."

these paragraphs are not as corresponding as they looked. lemme try to translate sayonly's paragraph:

sayonly: I felt the human beings are born unequal and not free, therefore the government should effort more on eliminating the HuKou(sorry that there's such a word in the western world, maybe somethinglike a Working Permit?) to save the farmer's life. During the procedurethere could be some mistakes and lots of wrong judgement. Comparingwith this importance (of saving the farmers), the problem of freespeech is the people's own problem.

This is already a kind of political view (and in public). I'll addsome of my own point of view as an interpretation - look how everybodycould interpret the free speech - people are born unequal and not freeeconomically: it's like a buddhism tradition. You don't have anythingwhen you come to this world - no nothing, no choice, no education (byCCP or by Berkeley). In Chinese culture there's such a thing of beingthankful for what you get from this world. So the sub-content-contextis that everything you could rely on is yourself. That's how averageChinese learnt not to take everything for granted. Nah, the governmentis not in the consideration at all yet - if they did something good, then they have good method and we thank them. If they did something bad- fuck them but the 10manyzeros people gotta to live on, right?
So lot of people are born in the countryside of China, they haven'tbeing asked - if they have a choice, it must okay to be born in alawyer family in New York. Being able to drink cocktail and talk shitsin this society. How about to be a kid growing up in the People's Park?Wait lemme take my medicines first. Wow that feels wonderful, too! Please remember that everybody only got several dozens' years to live. We're probably not born so educated as the government's officers are,so why bother start a logic fight with them while i could enjoy my lifeor while i have to struggle my life out? It would be a total waste oflife. Once i got the chance to do some free speech, i'll tell thegovernment to legitimite the prostistute industry - it's certainly mademe feel better to fuck a prostistute than to fuck the government.
Sorry very much for the dirty word - it's only a sample of free speech. It is free so it cannot be perfect, just like life itself. Since peopleasked for free speech (supposing Rebecca is not asking it for herself),then someone gotta listen to the free speech, you know what, thegovernment would not care it at all since they know nobody would listenat all. That's how the free speech became jabbered word - the one whowould listen to it only listen to it to manipulate it.
