I was about to go to sleep when I heard this warning message broadcast on a speaker by a security guard near my neighborhood. It said that middle school and primary school students are exempt from schooling due to the invading typhoon Khanun. The news said Zhejiang province was heavily hit by it and almost 1 million people were forced to evacuate and 35,000 ships had to seek shelter. Shanghai was slightly affected since the typhoon has been reduced to tropical storms.
This morning I took the bus NO. 14 (changed bus -NO. 15 midway) and went to the Chaterhouse Booktrader on Huai'hai Road. It is CHATERHOUSE. I bought 3 books and they said they were 10% off. They were a bit more expensive but again they were imported bestsellers....

This is what the bookstore looks like. (the shop assistant didn't allow me to take pictures inside the shop so I walked out and got this one)

This is one of the book I bought.

This is their trademark paper bag.

This is the most expensive one.

This is where you can find the bookstore- # 99, Huai'hai Road, Shanghai Times Square

Three books I bought.
